Semper Fi!!! Just checking on behalf of my father, Jerry Lee, who was with Bravo Co., 1st MP's. He was in country 1969-1970. If anyone remembers him please feel free to drop a line, I will relay the message. Dad doesn't keep up with modern techology. My email would be cassmorgan1341@yahoo.com He was a L/Cpl back then, also he is a Navajo Indian from Arizona.

I arrived at Camp Pendleton with order for Delta Company, 1st Military Police Battalion in February, 1966 when the Battalion was forming. After much training and drawing all new gear, including brand new M-14's right out of the box, we convoyed down to San Diego and boarded USNS Upshur and departed 7 May 1966. I served in 2d Platoon, Delta Company until transferred to the 1st Provisional Rifle Company about December '66 or January '67. I would like to hear from anyone who served in Delta Company from the time the Battalion deployed until about January '67 and from anyone who served in the 1st Provisional Rifle from about January '67 to July '67. Some of the names I remember and from whom I would like to hear are: Donaldson, Lomanic, Greg Stickford, Bob Symonds, Flores, Terry Carden and my best buddy, Gerald MacDonald who was transferred and was killed just shortly prior to his rotation date. I also remember a little guy Hoover, who was also killed. I have lots of memories to share and also some photos. James W. "Jim" Jonas
